About the Role

Provides intermediate level technical support to members of the healthcare community with a focus on client technology/devices and standard corporate applications. Works alone or as part of a team under intermittent supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Apply intermediate knowledge of computer security procedures and protocol.
  • Demonstrate novice level understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Utilize intermediate skills with common micro-computer operating systems.
  • Apply intermediate knowledge of corporate usage standards/policies related to end user devices/technology.
  • Support corporate standard client devices for deployment, troubleshooting, and customer education at an intermediate level.
  • Define problems, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions for end user devices/technology at an intermediate skill level.
  • Identify technical and functional specifications to meet customer needs related to client devices within corporate standards at a novice level.
  • Demonstrate intermediate interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service focus.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at an intermediate level.
  • Translate technical information for non-technical personnel at an intermediate level.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field (required).
  • Associate's Degree/Technical school or equivalent (preferred).
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in the field (preferred).
  • Client technology support experience (preferred).
  • Microsoft A+ Certification (preferred).

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Day shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Variable weekends.
