We are looking for a Client Tax Coordinator to join a services team on a contract basis. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys creating positive client experiences, communicating clearly, and staying organized in a fast-moving service environment.
About the role
The position focuses on supporting business tax clients through timely outreach, document follow-up, and clear correspondence while helping maintain strong ongoing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive and courteous support to clients by phone and in writing, ensuring questions are addressed accurately and efficiently.
- Contact business tax clients after filing activity to confirm required documentation has been submitted and to resolve outstanding items.
- Prepare, review, and send clear written communications that reflect a high standard of client service.
- Manage a large volume of client interactions in a busy call center setting while maintaining attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships by recommending relevant services and encouraging appropriate referrals.
- Coordinate follow-up activities and keep records updated so client requests and documentation needs are tracked properly.
- Work collaboratively with internal team members to support service goals and provide a smooth client experience.
Requirements
- Experience providing customer support in a call center or other high-volume service environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with business clients.
- Background handling outbound calling activities, including proactive follow-up with customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with cross-selling or referring services when appropriate to support client needs.
- Proficiency with Google Suite for communication, scheduling, and document management.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM system.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail when tracking client information and required paperwork.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
