Client Survey and Compliance Specialist

About the Role

The Client Survey and Compliance Specialist will support the strategy and execution of firmwide client survey responses, team processes, and other initiatives as an integral part of the firm’s client management team. This position works in coordination with the Director of Marketing and Client Management and the Senior Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• Partner with members of the marketing and business development department, client management team, attorneys, and other firm teams to strategically manage and respond to client surveys and questionnaires in a client-centric manner.
• Manage the end-to-end process of responding to client surveys and questionnaires, including participating in strategy sessions and coordinating timely, accurate responses to due diligence questionnaires, third-party risk assessments, vendor surveys, vendor onboarding requests, and other compliance-related inquiries.
• Serve as a central point of coordination across internal stakeholders to collect, review, and validate information needed to complete client-driven requests.
• Analyze client requests to identify trends, recurring questions, and opportunities to improve response efficiency and consistency.
• Support client management initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance client service, communication, and operational efficiency.
• Build strong and cooperative relationships with other departments that contribute to client surveys, such as accounting, the Office of General Counsel, IT, Human Resources, and others.
• Ensure responses comply with client survey requirements and Greenberg Traurig standards.
• Monitor evolving client requirements and industry trends related to outside counsel guidelines and supplier compliance.
• Assist with special projects and firmwide initiatives related to client relationships, client operations, and business development.
• Maintain and capture custom content in the firm’s proposal development system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years of marketing and business development experience at a law firm or other professional services firm, with proven experience responding to client surveys and proposals.

Technology

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Applies practical, hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support professional and managerial tasks, including drafting, summarizing, brainstorming, and organizing content. Maintains sound judgment when reviewing AI-generated work and full accountability for all final outputs.
• Ability to craft well-structured prompts that clearly define objectives, supply relevant context, and guide AI tools toward producing useful, accurate, and appropriate results. Refines and iterates on prompts to enhance output quality, increase productivity, and drive efficiency.
• Models responsible AI use for team members, reinforcing expectations related to confidentiality, data privacy, and appropriate human oversight.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of governance considerations, including ethical use and risk awareness, and adapts to emerging AI and related technologies.
