Client Support Worker

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides supervision for adults with IDD to ensure personal safety and personal hygiene needs are met for individuals on assigned shift.
• Supervises and records the self-administration of medications by individuals as prescribed by their physician in compliance with the Standards.
• Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe home environment.
• Transport the individuals on the assigned shift.
• Maintains accurate records of ISP progress and unusual incidences.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

A high school diploma or GED, along with any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Note: Some positions require a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs.
• Physical Demands may include: sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), overhead reaching.
