Client Specialist - Small Business Insurance

About the role

As a Business Insurance Specialist on the MMA National Client Center, you’ll partner with the Sales Center and Remarketing teams to deliver quality service. You’ll remain knowledgeable about coverages, manage client expectations (both internal and external), maintain rapport with clients and underwriters, and help grow existing accounts. This role requires working collegially as part of the production team, maintaining open communication, and ensuring timely follow-up.

Office location: Greensboro. Onsite work for the first 12 months, with a hybrid option afterward.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Center and Remarketing teams to ensure quality service delivery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance coverages
• Manage expectations of internal and external clients
• Build and maintain rapport with clients and company underwriters
• Develop and grow existing accounts
• Work collaboratively as a supportive team member
• Maintain open, effective communication and timely follow-up

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent education and/or related experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially telephone demeanor
• Independent thinking with an ambitious, goal-oriented mindset
• Strong team player with a willingness to help reach team goals
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products
• Property & Casualty Insurance License (required; MMA will provide licensing course and exam, with two attempts to pass)

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Property & Casualty Insurance Experience
• Property & Casualty License

Pay

Salary range begins at $50,000 (no experience required). Bonus opportunities available—new associates can earn up to $500 per quarter.

Schedule

Starting shift for this team: 10:15 AM to 7:15 PM (earlier shifts awarded by seniority).
