About the role
The Client Services Specialist serves as the primary administrative support professional, facilitating efficient department operations by managing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This remote, work-from-home role is essential for maintaining smooth workflow across the Periscope request and assessment process and for supporting service excellence for health plan partners, clinical consultants, senior reviewers, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workflow functions for Periscope requests and assessments
- Manage and update administrative databases to distribute information to internal and external parties
- Assist health plan partners and clients with service requests
- Provide scheduling support for evaluating therapists
- Maintain accurate record keeping of client communications
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries promptly
- Review and interpret medical documents, verifying information as needed
- Assist with data entry and maintain data integrity
- Identify and communicate data quality issues to staff and supervisors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health plans and therapists
- Upload and maintain accurate records in databases
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience with computer data entry and database management preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Superb organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all organizational levels
- Capability to follow instructions delivered via phone, email, or portal system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Reliable internet access and ability to work from home
- Must reside in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Nevada or Virginia
Schedule
- Mid-shift, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM EST
- Rotating weekend schedule
- Availability to work during some holidays
- Shifts and hours may vary
Pay
$23-$25 per hour (bilingual candidates eligible for additional incentive pay)
