About the role

A Client Service Representative (CSR) acts as a liaison, providing product and service information while resolving client issues with accuracy and efficiency. Though this role does not involve direct pet care, CSRs are critical to ensuring positive client interactions. We operate with a team-oriented approach to deliver compassionate care for pets and their owners.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and maintains composure under pressure. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins and check-outs, and handling miscellaneous duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incoming calls
• Process cash and credit card transactions
• Assess and address customer needs to ensure satisfaction
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using appropriate methods and tools
• Handle customer complaints, offering solutions and alternatives
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Demonstrate strong phone contact handling and active listening skills
• Utilize basic computer skills, including familiarity with Impromed systems
• Maintain customer orientation and adaptability to different personalities
• Exhibit excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Prioritize and manage time effectively

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of previous experience in client services
• Computer literacy with the ability to navigate new software
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work well within a team environment

Previous experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice or past client service experience is preferred.
