About the role
A Client Service Representative (CSR) acts as a liaison, provides product and service information, and resolves emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. Although this position does not provide direct care for pets, CSRs are critical to the success of every client interaction. We work using a team-oriented approach to deliver the best in compassionate care for both pets and clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Demonstrate strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Use basic computer skills and familiarity with Impromed systems
- Maintain customer orientation and ability to adapt to different types of characters
- Exhibit excellent communication skills
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of previous experience in client services
- Must be computer literate with the ability to navigate new software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Previous experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice or past client service experience
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
Pay
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
