Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communication
- Educate clients on vaccines, wellness care, and hospital services
- Process medical records, notes, and client information accurately
- Support veterinarians and technicians through effective communication
- Handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude
- Provide compassionate support during emotionally sensitive situations
What We’re Looking For
- Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or animal care experience
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, vaccines, and wellness services
- Experience working in a veterinary hospital or animal-related field
- Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and navigating multiple software systems
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
- Ability to handle challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
Physical Requirements
- This role can be physically active and may include:
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
- Navigating stairs regularly
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when needed
Schedule
- Full-time opportunity
- 4–5 day work week
- Flexible scheduling based on hospital needs
- Saturday availability required
