Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communication
  • Educate clients on vaccines, wellness care, and hospital services
  • Process medical records, notes, and client information accurately
  • Support veterinarians and technicians through effective communication
  • Handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude
  • Provide compassionate support during emotionally sensitive situations

What We’re Looking For

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or animal care experience
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology, vaccines, and wellness services
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital or animal-related field
  • Required Skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and navigating multiple software systems
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
  • Ability to handle challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism

Physical Requirements

  • This role can be physically active and may include:
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
  • Navigating stairs regularly
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when needed

Schedule

  • Full-time opportunity
  • 4–5 day work week
  • Flexible scheduling based on hospital needs
  • Saturday availability required
