Client Services Project Manager
About the Role
The Client Services Project Manager serves as a leader in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service through effective project coordination, stakeholder communication, and team leadership. This individual will oversee multiple concurrent projects, collaborate across internal teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring high-quality execution and service delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship builder, and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can adapt communication styles for different audiences, and is comfortable leading teams through changing priorities and complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external clients and stakeholders, building trust and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consistent delivery of project objectives.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate project activities and ensure effective execution of client deliverables.
- Lead client discussions, provide status updates, and communicate risks, concerns, and solutions in a clear and professional manner.
- Effectively manage escalations and complex situations while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitor project progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide visibility into project status and outcomes.
- Support and develop team members through coaching, collaboration, and effective delegation.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and client experience.
- Serve as a trusted representative of Epiq by demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability in every interaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in project management, client services, operations, account management, legal services, claims administration, financial services, healthcare operations, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and manage client expectations.
- Experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, or managing direct reports.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with sound judgment around escalation and issue resolution.
- Comfortable learning new systems, technologies, and business processes.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive projects from planning through execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing project metrics, operational data, budgets, billing, or financial reporting is a plus.
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $85,000 to $90,000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors: location-based market rate for the role, your abilities in relation to the job specification, performance during screening and interview, and pay parity with the wider team in the considered location.
