Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately inputting client orders, including material types, quantities, exposures, services, and client information, into the company's database.
  • Processing incoming orders, handed off from Client Services Representative, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • Checking product availability, and allocating Linetec Managed Inventory when applicable, ensuring orders can be completed promptly.
  • Verifying pricing and applying any applicable discounts to orders.
  • Maintaining detailed and organized records of all orders and related transactions.
  • Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the order processing cycle.

Communication

  • Communicating with internal teams (Client Services Representatives, Receiving, and Scheduling) to resolve order-related issues.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as production, Scheduling, and receiving to ensure smooth order processing.

Education & Experience

  • A high school diploma, required.
  • An associate degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Proficiency with order entry processes and software, preferred.

Required Skills

  • Fast, accurate data entry skills.
  • Time management, organization, and planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math skills for price reconciliation and calculating exposures.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Regular/dependable attendance.
  • Flexibility of work hours, including overtime.

Work Environment/Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel related to other sites/corporate.
  • Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional trips to manufacturing.
  • Lift up to 10 lbs.
