About the role
The Client Services Coordinator I acts as the primary contact for inputting client orders into the company database to be used by production. Duties may vary based on location or brand.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input client orders, including material types, quantities, exposures, services, and client information, into the company's database.
- Process incoming orders handed off from Client Services Representative, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
- Check product availability and allocate Linetec Managed Inventory when applicable to ensure orders can be completed promptly.
- Verify pricing and apply any applicable discounts to orders.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all orders and related transactions.
- Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the order processing cycle.
- Communicate with internal teams (Client Services Representatives, Receiving, and Scheduling) to resolve order-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, Scheduling, and Receiving, to ensure smooth order processing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required).
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
- Proficient with order entry processes and software (preferred).
Skills
- Fast, accurate data entry skills.
- Time management, organization, and planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong math skills for price reconciliation and calculating exposures.
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Regular and dependable attendance.
- Flexibility of work hours, including overtime.
Work Environment
- Occasional travel related to other sites or corporate.
- Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.
- Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional trips to manufacturing.
- Lift up to 10 lbs.
