About the role

The Client Services Coordinator I acts as the primary contact for inputting client orders into the company database to be used by production. Duties may vary based on location or brand.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input client orders, including material types, quantities, exposures, services, and client information, into the company's database.
  • Process incoming orders handed off from Client Services Representative, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • Check product availability and allocate Linetec Managed Inventory when applicable to ensure orders can be completed promptly.
  • Verify pricing and apply any applicable discounts to orders.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all orders and related transactions.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the order processing cycle.
  • Communicate with internal teams (Client Services Representatives, Receiving, and Scheduling) to resolve order-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, Scheduling, and Receiving, to ensure smooth order processing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required).
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • Proficient with order entry processes and software (preferred).

Skills

  • Fast, accurate data entry skills.
  • Time management, organization, and planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math skills for price reconciliation and calculating exposures.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Regular and dependable attendance.
  • Flexibility of work hours, including overtime.

Work Environment

  • Occasional travel related to other sites or corporate.
  • Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional trips to manufacturing.
  • Lift up to 10 lbs.
