Responsibilities
- Schedule caregiver visits based on qualifications and client needs.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails to resolve scheduling conflicts and concerns.
- Communicate assignments and schedule changes to caregivers and clients.
- Process data for accurate payroll, scheduling, and billing.
- Auxiliary data entry and payer verification.
- Independently manage client and family dynamics.
- Collaborate with various departments to address caregiver issues.
- Ensure staff compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
- Identify staff development needs and coordinate in-services.
- Collaborate with payroll to address time sheet discrepancies.
- Complete incident/accident reports and assist in investigations.
- Alert Clinical Director of staffing or personnel issues promptly.
- Maintain on-call schedules and coordinated care availability.
- Approve time-off requests while ensuring coverage.
- Stay updated on home health principles and practices.
- Foster relationships with agencies and professionals.
- Participate in committees and task forces as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
- Resolve client complaints and concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience of healthcare or homecare experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a Home Health/Home Care Agency preferred.
