About the role
Frankel’s internship program is designed to offer a dynamic and engaging experience for aspiring accounting students. The program runs December through May 2027 and is focused on training, mentorship, collaboration, hands-on experience, and fun, with a student-centered approach.
- Training & Development: Comprehensive training in all aspects of accounting, regardless of prior knowledge.
- Collaboration: Work with fellow interns and experienced professionals on diverse projects.

- Hands-on Experience: Work on real client projects and gain experience in various accounting tasks.
- Student Focused: The program is tailored to fit around your class schedule as a full-time student.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Preparing Engagement Letters for clients.
- Processing and preparation of 1099s.
- Assisting on personal property returns.
- General invoicing of clients.
- Working with bookkeeping software including QuickBooks.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Compiling and analyzing data to support the firm and clients.
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the accounting industry.
- Networking and building relationships across the firm.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with plans to sit for the CPA exam.
- Graduating between May 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Available on-site during the months of December through May.
