Client Services Administrator - Hybrid

About the role

In this hybrid role you will work two days in the Edgewood, Long Island office and three days from home, supporting Broadridge’s Shareholder Communication team. You will answer shareholder inquiries submitted in writing or by email, perform account maintenance updates, draft responses for escalated inquiries on behalf of management, and prepare letters advising shareholders of any additional information needed to complete their requests. Daily duties must be completed within guidelines set by supervisors, company policy, and the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the SEC and the STA.

Responsibilities

• Research transfer reject processing, status follow-ups, lost certificate applications, corporate action follow-ups, replacement check inquiries, and updates to 1099s, W-8s, and W-9s
• Complete client-, shareholder-, and coworker-initiated correspondence research items, identify the root cause that prompted each item, and document the solution
• Draft free-hand responses to inquiries or potential critical issues
• Recommend form and process improvements
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned
• Handle all tasks with respect for client privacy, accuracy, speed, and dependability

Qualifications

• Very detail oriented with strong multi-tasking, time-management, follow-up, and organizational skills
• Solid writing skills; willingness to submit a writing sample
• Ability to think critically, interpret requests from coworkers, clients, and shareholders, and identify errors
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• High attention to detail and quality control; reviews work before sending
• General typing and computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
• Ability to collaborate with multiple persons or groups to build common, satisfactory responses to shareholder inquiries

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $20.00 – $23.58 per hour. Broadridge considers relevant experience, skills, and education when evaluating a candidate’s final salary.
