As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting all administrative duties such as logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits, maintaining office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files, managing office supplies, processing expense submissions, tracking approvals, initiating maintenance requests, scheduling wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events.
- Providing reception support by answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients-prospects.
- Supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.)
- Delivering Ameriprise Client Experience for clients of one or more practices.
- Assisting advisors in preparing or following up to client or prospect meetings.
- Entering client data into various applications, supervising progress vs. practice goals, addressing client service requests, establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience, supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent
- 1-3 Years Relevant Experience
- Maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction.
- Show excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Show effective written and oral communication skills.
- Function in a fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, balance multiple priorities.
- Understand a financial advisor’s practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation)
- Ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns.
