As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting all administrative duties such as logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits, maintaining office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files, managing office supplies, processing expense submissions, tracking approvals, initiating maintenance requests, scheduling wholesaler and branch seminar series/events.
- Providing reception support: answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients/prospects.
- Supporting practice management: delivering Ameriprise Client Experience, scheduling client/appointment, entering client data into various applications, supervising progress vs. practice goals, addressing client service requests, establishing new clients with Ameriprise, assisting advisor in preparation/follow-up to client/prospect meetings, supporting practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent
- 1-3 Years Relevant Experience
- Maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, operate under limited/minimal direction
- Show excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
- Show effective written and oral communication skills
- Function in a fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, balance multiple priorities
- Understand a financial advisor's practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation)
- Ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns
