As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reception support including answering phones, greeting clients and addressing client service requests.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as logging correspondence and check deposits, maintaining client files, managing office supplies, processing expense reports, initiating maintenance requests, scheduling wholesalers and supporting branch seminar events.
  • Support practice management by delivering the Ameriprise Client Experience, introducing clients to the digital experience, scheduling client appointments and entering new and existing client data into various applications.
  • Aid advisors in preparing or following up after client meetings and supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • Average (2-year) degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience required.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and operate under limited/minimal direction.
  • Show excellent interpersonal skills to interact efficiently with clients.
  • Show effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Function in a fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, and balance multiple priorities.
  • Understand a financial advisor’s practice.
