Client Service Representative, Heart of Chelsea, New York
Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver concierge-level client service by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow for multiple doctors, and creating a welcoming experience for clients and their pets both in person and over the phone
- Manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system, triage client inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding hospital services, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Admit patients, maintain accurate medical and client records, and support efficient daily hospital operations
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and hospital staff to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and continuity of patient care
- Build positive client relationships through professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail while supporting the comfort and well-being of patients during their visit
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; client service experience preferred - veterinary experience a plus
- Experience with EzyVet or similar veterinary practice management software preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service
- Ability to provide compassionate, empathetic support to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the collaborative culture of Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group
