Client Service Representative

About the role

VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking an Experienced Client Service Representative to join our team in New Windsor, NY. We are a progressive veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate care and building strong relationships with pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and answering telephones
• Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
• Maintaining medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
• Ensuring the facility is neat and clean, both inside and outside

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a customer service role preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care and husbandry

Pay

$18 - 22/hr based on skill level and experience

Schedule

Weekend coverage needed
