Client Service Representative

About the role

VCA Alton Road Animal Hospital in Miami Beach, FL seeks a well-qualified and enthusiastic receptionist. Candidates must have at least 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience and preferably 1 year of overall work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work day, night, and weekend shifts
• Provide administrative support to the veterinary staff
• Handle phone calls and schedule appointments
• Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with clients and veterinarians
• Assist with preventative care and basic animal handling

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of basic veterinary practices
• Good working knowledge of preventative medicine
• Calm demeanor and ability to handle stressful situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
