VCA North Atlanta Animal Hospital is expanding our Patient Care Team and seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative to join our team! The Opportunity This unique split-position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on patient care and connecting with clients. You’ll have the opportunity to support our medical team as a Veterinary Assistant while also helping create a positive experience for pets and their families as a Client Service Representative. What You’ll Do Safely handle and restrain pets for exams and treatmentsPrepare exam rooms and treatment areasAssist doctors and technicians with appointments and proceduresCollect patient histories and assist with client communicationFeed, walk, and monitor hospitalized patientsAssist with laboratory samples, diagnostics, and surgical preparationMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospitalProvide compassionate care to patients throughout their visitWelcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly approachAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with client questionsCheck clients in and out and process paymentsMaintain accurate client and patient informationCommunicate with clients regarding appointments, services, and follow-up careHelp create a positive, welcoming experience for every client Total Rewards As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package which may include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and sick time Paid parental leave Mental wellness resources including Headspace and Lyra Continuing education and internal development programs Discover Additional Benefits | VCA (vcacareers.com) Compensation $17.00 - 20.00/hour Pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials. Schedule: Full-time position consisting of 4 days a week with rotating Saturdays.
