Client Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Support Representative to provide excellent service to assigned clients by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment while balancing customer and business needs. This position is ideal for someone with a strong customer service orientation who thrives in a fast-paced, in-office environment and is comfortable adapting to changing regulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond in a timely manner to client communications via email
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with assigned clients
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, problems, and complaints related to products and services
- Partner with internal team members and management to determine effective resolutions
- Utilize internal programs and tools to support client success, providing coaching or assistance as needed
- Stay current on regulations and internal procedures to ensure accurate and compliant service
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all personally identifiable information (PII)
- Share job knowledge with team members and contribute to a positive team dynamic
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on skill set
- Maintain consistent schedule and availability for clients and team activities
Must-Have Qualifications
- A high school diploma with 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and compliance-minded approach
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work comfortably with clients and coworkers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn and utilize internal company systems
Work Environment, Location & Schedule
This is a full-time, direct hire position based in Madison, WI. It is an onsite role, 5 days per week. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The office environment is collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on growth and trust.
Pay And Benefits
