Client Service Representative at Erie Animal Hospital

About the role

Erie Animal Hospital has been serving the community's pet care needs since 1953. The Client Service Representative (CSR) works closely with the Practice Manager and veterinarians to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients during every interaction and performs practice administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking.
• Manages practice reception, maintains veterinary medical records, handles accounts, processes cash and credit card payments, and performs data entry and word processing.
• Applies practical knowledge of practice processes and services, and communicates instructions to clients and teammates to ensure successful patient care.
• Relays lab results to pet owners when appropriate and assists with filling prescriptions.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring an excellent experience during the practice visit.
• Answers incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette, presents clients with medications, instructions, and other take-home items, and addresses client concerns.
• Performs a backup of the computer system on a regular basis, as directed, and oversees the performance of posting daily business.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Pay

The pay range for this position is USD $14.00 - USD $15.50 /Hr., with an up to $20,000 sign-on bonus.
