Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by warmly greeting clients and patients, answering phones, and escorting clients to exam rooms
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups and client outreach
- Clearly communicate service fees and process payments
- Recommend and assist clients with over-the-counter products and services
- Educate clients on general pet care and wellness topics (e.g., heartworm prevention, flea & tick control, housebreaking)
- Maintain accurate medical records, charts, and client communications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Compassion for both people and animals, with emotional awareness
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including Saturdays and some holidays
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in an environment with potential exposure to allergens, animal-related hazards, and varying noise levels
- M-F availability with weekends off
