Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by warmly greeting clients and patients, answering phones, and escorting clients to exam rooms
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
  • Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups and client outreach
  • Clearly communicate service fees and process payments
  • Recommend and assist clients with over-the-counter products and services
  • Educate clients on general pet care and wellness topics (e.g., heartworm prevention, flea & tick control, housebreaking)
  • Maintain accurate medical records, charts, and client communications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Compassion for both people and animals, with emotional awareness
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including Saturdays and some holidays
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in an environment with potential exposure to allergens, animal-related hazards, and varying noise levels
  • M-F availability with weekends off
