About the role
Schwab Retirement Plan Services, an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., is seeking a Client Service Manager (Specialist-Internal title) to join our team. This role supports the day-to-day servicing responsibilities for Schwab’s recordkeeping clients and works closely with a team of Client Service Managers (Relationship Managers).
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the day-to-day servicing responsibilities for Schwab’s recordkeeping clients consistent with Schwab’s goals and guiding principles.
- Supporting a team of Client Service Managers (Relationship Managers) responsible for our clients’ complete satisfaction with Schwab in our Mega Segment, $1B+ in Assets Under Management.
- Daily administration assignments, such as researching participant or client related questions, comprehension/application of procedures, processes, and systems, and direct contact with Schwab’s clients.
- Participating in the research, development, and production of strategic solutions to meet our retirement client needs, including accumulation of supporting documents or reports.
- Communicating clearly in both written and face-to-face communications, working collaboratively within the organization, sharing best practices, and aiding in the continuous improvement of the services provided by Schwab.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), with strong attention to detail and the ability to use appropriate communication channel.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter and fast learner with business and technical acumen.
- Able to manage multiple workflows at a time and effectively prioritize time-sensitive items.
- Able to analyze data to form meaningful conclusions.
- Previous experience in client service and/or developing client relationships and strong internal partnerships.
Qualifications
- Qualified Plan or Trust administration experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of ERISA, pension, trust, and securities industries preferred.
Skills
