Client Service Associate - MoneyGuide
The primary work location for this role is either Berwyn, Raleigh, or our Powhatan office with a hybrid work model.
About the role
You will join the MoneyGuide Client Services team at Envestnet, a group dedicated to supporting one of the industry’s leading financial planning solutions. This team partners closely with financial advisors, internal product teams, and operations to ensure a seamless client experience across the MoneyGuide platform. You’ll be part of a collaborative, service-oriented team focused on delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality support to advisors using MoneyGuide.
Responsibilities
- Supports clients in creating and delivering advanced planning techniques on the MoneyGuide platform.
- Serves as a point of contact for clients via inbound phone calls, chat, and email.
- Ensures high-level customer satisfaction through a strong sense of client advocacy and a consultative approach when resolving issues.
- Leverage knowledge of MoneyGuide technology offerings to provide support and training to clients on creating and delivering advanced-planning techniques using MoneyGuide products.
- Demonstrate outstanding advisor support through proven service techniques.
- Affirm knowledge of MoneyGuide technology offerings to provide support and training to clients on creating and delivering advanced-planning techniques using MoneyGuide products.
- Ensure accuracy of information provided to advisor through ongoing training, knowledge base articles, and escalating calls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client questions and requests in an accurate and timely manner, escalating when necessary.
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients.
- Aid in setting and managing client expectations for completion of work.
- Adhere to and apply Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policies within the role and department(s).
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the financial services area in a client facing role.
- Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and ambition to help others.
- A strong aptitude for technology.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and have a desire to be part of a cohesive team.
- Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®) designation or ability to obtain upon employment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field of study.
- Financial planning industry related education or certification.
- Experience using MoneyGuidePro.
Skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of financial planning software and platforms.
