About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented client services professional to join our team in Los Altos. This is a newer and growing location for Freestone, and we're looking for people excited to help us build out this location. This role is ideal for an early to mid-career professional who excels in client service, operations, and project management within the financial services industry. In this role, you will foster strong client relationships and provide high-level operational and administrative support to advisors and team members. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing and fast-paced firm dedicated to excellence in wealth management. The ideal candidate has 2 or more years of client service experience in the financial services industry and has or is willing to obtain the Series 65 license.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted resource for clients, ensuring smooth account operations and exceptional service, while working closely with advisors and the broader client service team.
- Build a strong rapport with advisors, anticipating their needs and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Take ownership of key administrative functions while expanding into higher-level client service responsibilities.
- Develop deep expertise in our internal account management systems to independently:
- Drive client account onboarding, service process and coordination.
- Respond to client inquiries with confidence and precision.
- Prepare comprehensive meeting materials.
- Process trade tickets and execute transactions seamlessly.
- Manage account-related tasks (cash movement, wires, journals, etc.) with minimal supervision.
- Generate and analyze ad hoc reports.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and office management responsibilities as needed to support the team.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree required (Finance or Business degree preferred).
- Series 65 (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is required.
- 2–4+ years of experience in a client service role within financial services.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Pay
The expected base salary for this position is $85,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and skill set. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
