Client Service Analyst
About the role
Supports and provides product expertise for the financial planning business development, sales, and service delivered by wealth advisors and relationship managers. Works closely with clients to enhance their experience and introduces services as needed.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Prepares new business proposals and presentations based on client needs
- Conducts market research to understand client and prospect needs
- Identifies potential clients and assists in developing strategies to attract them
- Takes ownership of client issues and collaborates with others to resolve or escalate as necessary
- Liaises with external advisors on behalf of the wealth advisor/relationship manager
- Develops rapport and earns trust with clients
- Ensures compliance with risk and compliance processes
- Supports the achievement of the business plan within the designated territory/region
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to build capability and drive business growth
- Supports administrative and transactional tasks for the assigned advisors and client portfolio
- Prepares reports for financial plans and prospect presentations
- Maintains proper documentation and organizes client files
- Supports the achievement of high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth
- Works independently and exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
- Follows the Risk Management Framework and adheres to applicable policy documents, laws, and regulations
- Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions
Requirements
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General knowledge of financial planning and wealth management
- Working towards a financial planning designation preferred
- Proficiency in office and sales management software
- Comfortable exploring beyond one's area of technical expertise and recognizing new business opportunities
Qualifications
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and team skills
- In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective influence skills
