Client Security Principal (Req#1263)
About the role
The Client Security Principal (CSP) position is critical to ePlus’ security success, driving high performance around achieving financial security goals, building and executing a business plan, and facilitating regular security forecasting within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the regional vice president (RVP) and services leadership to have joint responsibility for the regional security business.
- Align with top strategic accounts to provide security thought leadership and drive strategic customer opportunities.
- Coach and position field teams for hyper-growth within the security segment.
- Conduct customer-facing responsibilities, including security sales and presales, opportunity qualification, pipeline development, and business growth.
- Execute the global security go-to-market strategy at a regional level, leveraging expertise in Network Security, Advanced Threats, etc.
- Develop joint marketing plans and enablement activities for the territory.
- Collaborate with peers and partners to share best practices and develop a consistent approach for the CSP position.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering field preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling and positioning Security solutions.
- Proven success selling solutions at the CXO and VP level.
- CISSP certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Knowledge and experience selling Security products and services.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions within the security discipline.
- Ability to conduct executive-level dialogue and presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory, as well as occasional national travel.
- Full knowledge and ability to competently discuss, plan, and support deployment efforts around IT solutions using Network Security, Advanced Threats, Cloud Security, etc.
- Ability to coach and mentor solutions architects within the territory.
- Knowledgeable in the ePlus security product and services portfolio.

Pay
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $170,000 and $190,000 annually. Final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Schedule
The position is expected to require regular travel within the assigned territory and occasional national travel to company meetings and events.
