Position Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors entering/exiting the building.
- Aid in the screening and routing or providing directions to clients and visitors, especially during check-in/check-out.
- Aid other staff in adhering to clinic policies/procedures/rules (i.e., time slotting).
- Supervise entryway and waiting areas to ensure waiting room rules are followed.
- Provide an inviting and comfortable environment in waiting areas.
- Uphold no soliciting and smoking rules for parking lot and entrance of clinic.
- Keep both site leadership & Client Safety Supervisor properly informed of any safety and security issues (i.e., loitering, suspected or witnessed medication diversion or the trafficking of illicit substances).
- Manage general upkeep of waiting areas (e.g. making coffee, organizing waiting areas, updating client bulletin boards) in order to maintain a clean, orderly environment.
- Patrol all areas directly outside of the building and parking lot with random checks throughout the day and complete frequent rounds of the interior of the site.
- Prepare and participate in incident reports and incident investigations as necessary.
- Lead and coordinate response teams during emergency situations according to policies developed for the use of panic buttons and associated paging codes.
- Inform supervisor in a timely manner when emergency situations occur.
- Provide coverage to other sites as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some Peer support experience preferred.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation when occasional need to travel to other sites occurs.
