About the role
The Client Retention Coordinator supports the Life Insurance team by identifying in-force policy review and retention opportunities, coordinating outreach to agents or consumers, scheduling reviews with licensed representatives, and maintaining accurate tracking.
Responsibilities
- Identifies in-force life insurance policies approaching term expiration, conversion deadlines, or other review opportunities.
- Generates and reviews reports from internal and carrier systems to create and maintain a working list of retention opportunities.
- Reviews policy information to confirm agent status, verifies policy details and coordinates outreach to client.
- Maintains accurate tracking of all opportunities, outreach attempts, outcomes, and follow-up activity in designated spreadsheets or systems.
- Documents all contact activity thoroughly and timely to support reporting and workflow management.
- Refers all requests for policy advice, recommendations, or coverage interpretation to a licensed ABS or Relation representative in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Provides strong customer service to agents, consumers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to improve workflow efficiency, support accurate outreach and tracking, and enhance the overall client and agent experience.
- Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- Experience in life or annuity insurance operations or compliance preferred.
- Familiarity with state DOI systems, NIPR, or carrier portals preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to cross-reference and verify information across databases, HubSpot, and carrier portals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, and the ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
Qualifications

$18.00 - $35.58 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
