About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Client Relationship Consultant in Group Benefits to partner closely with our Sales team and top-level Broker partners to develop and implement customized strategies. In this role, you will deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals, provide expert renewal analysis & delivery, and deliver outstanding service while selling new lines of business. You will establish yourself as a knowledgeable industry expert and consultant in the field of group benefits, managing an assigned block of in-force group business.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred)
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days
- Active life/health license preferred
- Excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers
Senior Client Relationship Consultant
- 8+ years of related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience)
Pay
- Client Relationship Consultant: $68,200 – $92,400 / year
- Senior Client Relationship Consultant: $84,700 – $115,500 / year
