Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) – South Salem, OR (25 hrs)

About the role
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital-first mindset. This role is part-time (25 hours) and based in Salem, OR.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster strong client relationships through proactive outreach, follow-up, and understanding of financial needs and banking preferences.
- Identify and recommend solutions for new and existing clients based on their unique goals and needs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
- Provide a consistent, optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
Skills
- Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach.
- Effective communication and engagement with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
- Ability to identify customer needs and make appropriate recommendations both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) encouraged to apply.

Pay
Pay Range: $20.25 - $24.75 per hour.
