About the Role

The Client Relations Consultant will strategically increase the Company’s pipeline of business opportunities across multiple lines of business. You will develop and facilitate selling opportunities for enterprise-wide sales staff by engaging daily with decision-makers in healthcare organizations nationwide to generate new client prospects and qualified leads. Collaborate with peers and the outside sales team to implement a structured approach to improving the Workforce Solutions team’s number of generated leads, meetings scheduled, presentations, and opportunity win rate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ongoing relationships with client prospects that result in opportunities for enterprise-wide sales staff to engage directly with the client.
  • Implement a systematic approach to identifying prospective clients across product lines including Travel Nurse/Allied Staffing, Per Diem Staffing, Technology, and Locum Tenens Staffing.
  • Study current market dynamics to identify new or evolving opportunities/solutions for Cross Country to pursue with prospective clients.
  • Coordinate conference calls, meetings, and travel time for multiple sales executives in varying regions throughout the United States.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to advance a strategic business development plan supporting quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Execute a high-volume client outreach effort (phone, email, social media) while performing to established conversion metrics.
  • Navigate internet websites and social media applications to collect targeted market and client information.
  • Ensure current, competitive information is maintained in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Engage with business unit leadership, sales leadership, and delivery specialists to fully leverage all potential business opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal research and data operations teams to maximize business development efforts.
  • Research and prepare strategic briefings on potential clients’ prior experience across Cross Country’s continuum of services.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly goals and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of three years’ experience in a related inside sales or business-to-business role (healthcare staffing experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated success executing a territory penetration plan with clear and measurable outcomes.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate credibly with top decision-makers in major healthcare enterprises.
  • Professional presentation style and demeanor conveying warmth and professionalism over the telephone.
  • Comfortable making multiple cold calls into healthcare organizations nationwide to identify appropriate decision-makers.
  • Committed to achieving goals and resilient when client interest declines.
  • Proficiency with geography, reading maps, and adjusting schedules, meetings, and travel times to United States time zones.
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) in a Windows environment.
  • Prior experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to conduct efficient and productive Internet research.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, client-driven environment with changing demands.

Company equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset) will be provided for use during employment.
