About the role
In the Client Reimbursement Coordinator role, you will be responsible for assisting the Client Reimbursement Advocacy team with various day-to-day tasks and responsibilities to support members and clients facing access-to-care barriers. This will include monitoring the main intake mailbox and phone line, assigning referrals, answering inquiries, facilitating claims payments, and any other related tasks and responsibilities dictated by the needs of the business. Position Location: 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails from internal and external partners and triage, as necessary, to the appropriate parties.
- Create and distribute cases referred to the Client Reimbursement Advocacy team via email and phone call.
- Prepare and send reports on ageing cases, closures, and team member statistics.
- Coordinate with Providers, as well as Audit and Claims teams on the payment of claims.
- Assist management with various tasks and assignments.
- Research providers and obtain contact information to be used for negotiations.
- Report any system issues.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Other related projects and duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ administrative experience.
Preferred Experience/Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Healthcare and/or insurance company.
- Provider relations experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the industry.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with limited supervision.

- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
