About the role
The Client Portfolio Associate supports the North American Client Portfolio Manager (NACPM) team within the Business Development Group (BDG). This role facilitates sales-related and client service activities across U.S. and Canadian distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Support sales and client service activities across U.S. and Canadian distribution channels.
- Develop strong knowledge of TGI strategies and vehicles to support prospecting and client relationship management.
- Build relationships with the internal sales desk and select retail channels to deliver timely information and address strategy-related inquiries.
- Support the internal sales consultant channel.
- Analyze segmentation and other datasets to identify and prioritize business opportunities.
- Monitor product availability across key broker-dealer platforms to identify market opportunities.
- Create and deliver timely portfolio and market updates through email and Teams.
- Translate portfolio holdings, characteristics, and data into actionable sales ideas.
- Support product positioning and broader sales initiatives across all channels.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Partner with portfolio specialists, investment writing, and broader TGI teams to develop portfolio narratives, thought leadership, and client-facing collateral.
- Collaborate with the NACPM team to identify institutional relationships and strategic opportunities across channels.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience in international equities and retail/institutional sales.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred, or the ability to obtain them shortly after hire, with training provided for eligible candidates.
- Progress toward the CFA designation—or an interest in pursuing it—is a plus.
- Understanding of equity markets (global), investing, and portfolio management; international and emerging markets experience preferred.
- Experience in sales, investments, or an analytical role is preferred.

Pay
The annual salary for this position ranges between $130,000 to $150,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus, depending on location and level of relevant experience.
Schedule
A hybrid work arrangement with four days per week in the office. Work Location: Boston, MA, St. Petersburg, FL, or Stamford, CT.
