About the role
The Client Partner is a quota-carrying sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined territory of schools and districts. This role owns the full sales cycle—from territory strategy and pipeline generation to closing and renewal—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact for students, staff, and leaders.
Responsibilities
- Own and achieve a personal revenue quota, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
- Build and execute a territory plan identifying priority districts and schools, balancing near-term opportunities with long-term account development.
- Maintain a well-qualified pipeline, proactively addressing revenue risks and expanding existing relationships.
- Lead the full sales process with district and school stakeholders, including superintendents, district leaders, and principals.
- Conduct discovery to understand client priorities and translate them into tailored FranklinCovey solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans for key districts, including multi-year expansion strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Navigate complex buying processes, including RFPs, board approvals, and budget cycles.
- Use Salesforce, Domo, and other tools to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal "pods" (cross-functional teams) to coordinate outreach and deliver a consistent client experience.
- Partner with coaches, implementation, and retention teams to support deal transitions and surface renewal opportunities.
- Follow through on commitments to clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Operate effectively amid changing market conditions and adjust strategies to improve results.
- Travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and internal gatherings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree.
- 5+ years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership.
- Experience selling to K–12 districts strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently attaining or exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual quota.
- Ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling.
- Experience winning and growing business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly changing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic conversations with senior district and school leaders.
- Strong written, virtual, and in-person communication skills.

Pay
Anticipated compensation for this position is $105,000–$140,000 base salary plus commissions.
Schedule
Full-time exempt position. Remote, with anticipated work focused on key districts in the NE region, including Greater Baltimore, Fairfax, Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel, Howard County, and Boston.
