BabyBots is a premium AI and automation consultancy built on the Microsoft ecosystem: Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Dataverse, and Power BI. We occupy a specific gap in the market. Big 4 firms deliver governance and strategy at glacial speed and bloated cost. Low-end dev shops move fast and leave behind technical debt and security holes. We deliver strategic, governance-first solutions with boutique speed and accountability.

Every engagement produces tangible, reusable assets: governance frameworks, data architectures, automation engines, integration patterns. We sell outcomes, not hours. Clients utilize what we build long after we leave.

Role Description

  • Own net-new revenue. Full cycle: target, prospect, qualify, run discovery, frame solutions, propose, negotiate, close, and hand off cleanly to delivery.
  • Your pipeline, your accounts, your commission.
  • Sell three engagement types:
    • Advisory + Enablement: $15K to $50K, 2 to 6 weeks. Governance frameworks, strategy, architecture review.
    • Phased Builds: $75K to $200K per phase, 8 to 16 weeks. Asset-based implementation with fixed scope.
    • Strategic Programs: $250K to $1M+, 6 to 18 months. Multi-phase transformation partnerships.
  • The math you should care about: one well-qualified $150K strategic engagement is worth ten $15K tactical projects. We optimize for deal quality, and we walk away from misfit deals early. You will never be asked to discount desperately, respond to commoditizing RFPs, or sell staff augmentation.

What you will actually be doing

  • Build and work a target account list of mid-market and enterprise organizations ($100M+ revenue, 500+ employees, strong Microsoft footprint) across manufacturing, telecom and utilities, energy services, logistics and field service, and professional services.
  • Run systematic, personalized outbound across LinkedIn, email, and phone. We have a complete playbook: persona messaging, templates, trigger-event plays, follow-up cadences. You bring the discipline and the craft.
  • Monitor buying signals: Copilot rollouts, M&A integration, shadow IT escalations, audit pressure, new C-suite hires, ERP modernization.
  • Sell to CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, COOs, and their VPs and Directors. You will need to talk governance with a security leader and ROI with a finance leader in the same account, in the same week.
  • Run structured discovery using our question banks and qualification scorecard. Score every deal. Qualify out fast when fit is not there.
  • Frame solutions and confirm alignment before proposing. No spray-and-pray proposals.
  • Document deals completely for delivery handoff. Delivery should never rediscover what was sold.
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline of 5 to 8 active opportunities and a weekly operating rhythm.

Who this role is for

  • 4+ years of consultative B2B sales with a track record of sourcing and closing net-new business, ideally in consulting, professional services, or enterprise software.
  • You understand (or can quickly learn to speak) the Microsoft ecosystem: Power Platform, Copilot, Azure, Dynamics. Bonus if you have sold services around ERP/CRM, data, or AI governance.
  • You can hold an executive conversation about risk, ROI, and strategic alignment without a solutions engineer holding your hand.
  • You are a natural qualifier. You would rather kill a bad deal in week one than drag it for two quarters.
  • You are personally disciplined about outbound. Research first, personalize always, follow up relentlessly, track everything.
  • You want ownership and accountability, not layers of sales management.
