Client Operations Supervisor
About the role
Barry’s is the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience founded in West Hollywood in 1998. Known for its immersive, high-intensity one-hour workouts that focus on different muscle groups each day, Barry’s aims to tone muscle, maximize fat loss, and spike metabolism.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-duty operations, ensuring smooth class check-ins, studio openings, and closings
- Support management of studio staff
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with clients and staff
- Support senior and general managers with marketing strategies, including acquisition tactics, client and community initiatives, and studio engagement
- Assist with fuel bar and retail inventory control and counts
- Partner with senior and general managers to implement and execute hospitality processes, ensuring consistent training and skill development
- Train and develop team members to ensure a consistent client experience and uphold Barry’s mission, vision, values, and hospitality standards
- Oversee milestone, loyalty, and surprise and delight programs, celebrating special events regularly
- Manage studio systems, including Zendesk, Brandbot, and ensure client inquiries are promptly and effectively resolved
- Maintain brand standards and all studio facilities, including laundry, Red Room maintenance, locker room cleaning, and overall studio cleanliness
- Represent Barry’s brand within the studio and the fitness community, and participate in community enhancement efforts
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work 5 shifts including weekends and public holidays

Pay Range
The hourly rate for this role is between $24.00 and $25.00 per hour, with a range of 24 - 24 USD per hour in Burlingame, CA.
Schedule
Studio Hourly Managers work 5 shifts including weekends and public holidays.
