About the role

This position will support the client marketing team by providing accurate and detailed marketing and account analysis to aid in new business creation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on develop an understanding and complete adoption of Hylant’s servicing tools and processes.
  • Aid in preparation of various client proposals, presentations and deliverables.
  • Respond to internal and external client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Develop and apply market knowledge of key carriers and vendors.
  • Research and provide updates to the team regarding market changes, competitiveness and new product options.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance, benefit, human resources or related field preferred.
  • Customer service experience, ideally within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as ERISA, HIPPA and ACA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passionate work ethic with desire to learn and grow.
  • Proficient in using relevant MS Office software and systems for reporting, analysis and presentations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Life and Health insurance license within 90 days.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Skills

  • Customer service experience, ideally within the insurance industry.
