Client Manager - Employee Benefits
About the role
The Client Manager manages a dedicated book of business consisting primarily of lower-complexity clients, delivering standardized service and lifecycle support. This role serves as a primary client contact, coordinates with internal teams, and ensures compliance, documentation, and service expectations are met.
Responsibilities
- Manages a dedicated Book of Business: small-to-medium volume book of primary low-complexity clients (e.g., fully insured, standard plans) with moderate service intensity and standardized service models.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, supporting all phases of the client lifecycle.
- Manages Salesforce – with ownership of workflow, tracking, and data quality for assigned BOB.
- Provides support on and develops in all areas of the client life cycle.
- Reviews work completed by Client Associates before delivery to clients.
- Resolves claims, billing, and eligibility issues while coordinating with internal support teams.
- May coach peers or guide support staff or junior team members.
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Life & Health License
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Technical application skills: OE guide applications, Salesforce
- Basic + developing awareness of core market dynamics and client segments
Pay
Salary Range: $100,000 USD - $200,000 USD
