What You’ll Do:

  • Process assigned book of business, including renewals, new business, cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests.
  • Achieve accuracy in your work product and that of others assisting you.
  • Create and issue certificates of insurance, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain certificate guidelines.
  • Initiate renewal meetings and manage the renewal process.
  • Negotiate coverages and premiums with insurance carriers.
  • Provide accurate renewal proposals to producers and clients.
  • Review and verify policy coverages, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Respond to or address insured inquiries and requests from underwriters.
  • Invoice policies, audits, endorsements, cancellations, and other transactions.
  • Aid in the reconciliation of client accounts.
  • Ensure account rounding and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Attend company and department meetings, seminars, client meetings, and carrier functions.
  • Pursue professional development through educational classes and Bolton & Company recommendations.
  • Act professionally and respectfully towards all internal and external clients, carriers, and staff.

You Should Have:

  • 4+ years of commercial P&C experience.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • CISR designation or equivalent advanced designation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with the renewal cycle and processes.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal responsibility and accountability for assigned book of business.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of commercial P&C experience.
