This position in the internal IT department supports Matrix Systems for client setup, configuration, and the conversion of historical/takeover leave data for new clients. The role primarily ensures a smooth transition for claimants and Operations during the conversion process, with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the business impact of requests in a ticketing system to properly prioritize and complete requests.
  • Analyze customer requirements and apply that information to convert customer data for loading into the Reliance Matrix leave management systems, including file mapping, data conversion, file loading, and direct system interaction to load all client historical data.
  • Work independently, leading data conversion projects.
  • Review, analyze, and make decisions based on complex client data to ensure a successful client launch.
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding product functionality or system issues; gather pertinent details to assess and provide an action plan or resolution.
  • Collaborate with other associates and resources to resolve issues.
  • Document all communication and maintain accurate, up-to-date status of triage actions in the ticketing system.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize customer issues; identify and escalate critical issues as necessary.
  • Communicate project updates across the organization.
  • Support continuous improvement of overall systems support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with data transformation tools, including intermediate experience with Excel.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to independently review and resolve issues.
  • Ability to quickly understand and prioritize business requests.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer service orientation with a commitment to the company’s mission.
  • Proven experience with data quality control.
  • Broad knowledge of insurance claims administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competent and confident communication with business users and account management.
  • 1-2 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in claims administration.
  • Experience supporting large-scale computer applications, including answering user questions on functionality and issue resolution (highly desirable).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Pay

The expected hiring range for this position is $57,800.00 - $72,260.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Phoenix, AZ). The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
