About the role
You’ll be essential in delivering innovative solutions to State, Local, and Federal Government agencies that make them more connected to the world. Your primary objective will be to cultivate sales opportunities through strategic networking, engaging in negotiations, and successfully closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate sales opportunities through strategic networking, engaging in negotiations, and successfully closing sales.
- Understand and recommend innovative solutions to customer needs.
- Generate new sales leads and write proposals and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Provide follow-up training for new customers.
- Lead your sales pipeline and activity with sales management tools.
- Generate forecasting and tracking reports.
- Stay updated on new offerings and market trends through training and your own research.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Outside sales experience.
- Managed large complex accounts and sales, sold to large national or government accounts, or demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

- Understanding of complex government agencies.
- Ability to build relationships through listening, anticipating, and responding to customer needs.
- Experience selling to large national or government accounts.
- Strong follow-through, a sense of urgency, and putting the customer first.
- Ability to navigate red tape and deliver exceptional customer service tailored to specific requirements.

Pay
Compensation varies by geography and performance and experience. Our commission program allows unlimited opportunity which could allow top earners to exceed compensation plans and compete for various sales incentives.
