About the role

Acts as an agent of a broker assigned accounts for Private Client Services, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. Manages the book of business and directs the work of a service team.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and develop new business leads from Producers, or identify and develop cross-sell opportunities.
  • Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage.
  • Evaluate assigned client coverage portfolio to implement cross-selling opportunities and solicitation of additional lines of coverage.
  • Service account and provide claims support as needed.
  • Analyze exposure base to identify program deficiencies and develop proper marketing strategies.
  • Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Bind coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage.
  • Meet with clients as needed or as directed by the Producer.
  • Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections.
  • Serve as a technical expert and assist department members in resolving complex issues.
  • Handle collection of fees, reconciling and resolving any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing.
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience in the Private Client/High Net Worth insurance space required.
  • Private Client Experience Required.
  • Valid insurance license required.
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
