Responsibilities

  • Create value for both Verizon and our customers by solving their business problems.
  • Establish Verizon as the premier business partner in named civilian agencies and Department of Defense accounts.
  • Develop strategic plans that drive sales and build deep relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with others to find win-win solutions and craft creative solutions to help customers realize their goals.
  • Sell Verizon products such as network, cloud, managed security, mobility, digital media, and services to help customers connect better and become more efficient.
  • Elevate Verizon’s relationships and revenue with our customers.
  • Grow our business while delivering to our customers.
  • Act as a strong customer advocate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, preferably in public sector sales.
  • Experience acquiring new business, developing accounts, and leading senior executives.
  • Strategic sales background at senior executive levels.
  • Willingness to travel through Virginia and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

  • Public Sector Sales Experience.
  • A degree.
  • A proven understanding of solutions selling methodology and tools.
  • Good industry knowledge and business insight.
  • Strong influencing skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams in multiple roles (contributor to leader).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and creative skills.

Skills

  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business, and customer trends.
  • Expertly packaging and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Consultative selling approach.

Pay

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $72,500.00 - $126,100.00.

Schedule

This is a mobile role, primarily working from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
