This position is responsible for initiating and leading routine client data contribution, quality, and remediation projects that support core business functions and are of low to moderate complexity for all datasets used by Early Warning products and services. You will also perform monitoring, research, and analysis of client-level data to ensure the quality necessary to optimize performance of Early Warning products and services.

Positions located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York follow a hybrid work model to allow for a more collaborative working environment. Candidates must independently possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire. This position is ineligible for employment Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate projects with customers to engage necessary resources, define scope of work, task lists, and project milestone dates and timeline; manage and document multiple client data projects, cases, and issues simultaneously using the Early Warning CRM tool.
  • Manage projects from beginning to end, playing a key role in discovery, definition of scope, technical requirements and specifications review, code development (client/internal), testing, and production implementation.
  • Work with customers for production validation and certification activities; schedule and coordinate implementations to production.
  • Resolve issues promptly and effectively; meet with customers regularly to provide and obtain client status updates.
  • Report on the health and status of projects to both customers and internal EWS stakeholders and escalate both internally and externally as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects to maintain progress against tasks and milestones according to plan and that the project schedule is on track.
  • Work with clients to transition from project to business-as-usual operations to ensure quality standards are maintained and sustainable.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, vendors, business analysts, project managers, and development project teams to fully assess data feeds and expectations.
  • Provide consultation and guidance on projects to ensure quality of client dataset contributions.
  • Assess impacts of data contribution or quality issues to provide insights into urgency and steps for remediation in collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to technical requirements and operating rules related to contribution and ongoing quality of contributed data; escalate non-responsive, non-performance, and/or non-compliance issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and test new data transmissions, data mapping, sample and test files, and code changes/development related to client data contributions in collaboration with clients and EWS internal resources.
  • Troubleshoot issues (testing and/or production) with clients or Early Warning IT partners and make necessary code or configuration changes to ensure contribution files meet quality standards.
  • Perform acceptance testing, validation, certification, and quality assurance for customer data contribution projects.
  • Initiate audits on client data, analyze results, and take action by collaborating with clients to facilitate solutions for production or testing issues.
  • Research root causes of problems with contributed data and lead efforts to remediate the issue with the contributor.
  • Conduct assessments of data quality and integrity requiring research and analysis, working with clients to understand contribution practices and making recommendations for remediation.
  • Provide input to ensure efficiencies with automated methods or tools for customer support, research, and analytics.
  • Assist with the development and improvements of internal processes and procedures related to customer data contribution and dimensions of data quality (timeliness, accuracy, completeness, etc.).
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Ensure the department maintains compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Support the company’s commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data analytics, data quality, or data management role or related experience.
  • Experience in a client-facing or project management role with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to effectively conduct client meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and concurrent deliverables while keeping clients and internal partners on task for timely and successful execution and implementation.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; motivated self-learner.
  • Adaptable: able to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business language that can be easily consumed by all key stakeholders.
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screen is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Early Warning products and services or equivalent financial services industry products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau Prep, SAS, R, Python, and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience or certification in data management platforms such as Talend or Informatica (Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, and Data Quality (IDQ)).
  • Strong knowledge of the multiple dimensions associated with data quality (timeliness, accuracy, completeness, etc.).

Physical Requirements

  • Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Working conditions consist of a normal office environment.
  • Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer, involving sitting for periods of approximately four hours.
  • Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment, including personal computers.
  • Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

Pay

The base pay scale for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $84,000 - $105,000 USD per year. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. This pay scale is subject to change and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific candidate, which is always dependent on legitimate factors considered at the time of job offer.
