At YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, our mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and ensure all people in our community have the opportunity to thrive. We provide housing stability, economic advancement, and health and safety services to over 7,000 individuals annually through more than 70 programs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and compile client data (demographics, services, outcomes) to support programs and strategic initiatives
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, SQL, R, and reporting tools
  • Create and automate recurring reports for internal teams and funders
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Clean and transform data into SQL and R to improve data accessibility and accuracy
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction
  • Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, processes, and reporting standards
  • Support and co-administer multiple data systems such as ClientTrack and HMIS
  • Conduct and develop trainings for client data system users
  • Provide ongoing technical support and customer service to data system users
  • Interpret and translate complex data or system requirements into practical guidance for staff
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors when needed
  • Help to identify and resolve data system issues, conduct data quality assurance testing, analyze and evaluate systems, and identify and recommend potential system improvements
  • Support data system infrastructure improvements, customizations, and documentation
  • Partner with program directors, managers, frontline staff, and leadership to understand data needs and improve reporting processes
  • Communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Commit to diversity, including sensitivity to the needs of residents and staff from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
  • Support the YWCA’s Social Justice Initiative by understanding how racism, sexism, classism, and other oppressions play out in institutions and systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three years of experience working with data, reporting, program support, or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn new software systems and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a variety of teams
  • Experience using SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization software
  • Familiarity with client databases or case management systems such as HMIS or ClientTrack
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, housing, public sector, or human services environment

  • Occasionally travels between YWCA locations or to community meetings and training sites
  • Occasionally lifts and carries office materials, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Frequently uses visual acuity to review data, spreadsheets, reports, and electronic records
  • Frequently performs repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with typing and computer use

Pay

Hourly Starting Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

Schedule

Status: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Benefits

  • Excellent benefits package including medical insurance, retirement plan, plus generous vacation, holiday, and sick leave plans
  • Retailer may become eligible to participate in the YWCA Retirement Fund after meeting hours-worked requirements, which may include completing at least 1,000 hours in a 12-month period or over two years, depending on plan provisions. Prior YWCA service may count toward eligibility if reemployment occurs within two years
