Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule home care shifts for clients based on their individual needs and preferences
- Maintain and update the scheduling system to reflect any changes or cancellations
- Manage on call scheduling service team and provide them with assistance/guidance when needed
- Monitor shift coverage to ensure all shifts are filled and no gaps in care occur
- Communicate with caregivers regarding shift changes, schedule updates, and any special instructions
- Track and manage caregiver attendance and report any issues related to missed or late shifts
- Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide ongoing support to both clients and caregivers to ensure smooth and efficient care delivery
- Daily shift verification - ensure that all shifts have the correct billing/payroll hours, billing/pay rates and care notes
- As time permits, assist with recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and credential verification
Requirements
- 3+ years of scheduling experience in home care and able to manage high-volume scheduling in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, caregivers, and team members
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
- Tech-savvy, with experience using scheduling platforms and productivity tools (Microsoft Office/Google Suite)
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
- Live close -- within ~20 miles -- to the office and able to work on site
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree or higher (preferred)

Pay
Excellent compensation including salary and a bonus opportunity based on experience.
